Windows Phone situation in US

Believe it or not, they do (in the US). I see more windows phone and Nokia ads than any other OS/device with the exception of maybe the iphone and those are typically about one thing they do (Weeeee, it does panoramas!) I see it in commercials, billboards, banner ads, everything.

IMO the issue is three fold, but two of them are related. 1). Those who call themselves tech/mobile writers are the biggest hacks, and detriment to windows phone right now. I see VERY FEW articles about whatever windows phone device they choose to speak about that isn't laced with their own preferences, or regurgitating the same shit another hack writer has said. Too much focus is spent on what they deem to be shortcomings of the OS, while never mentioning actual features of the OS. For instance I always see a "comparison" where someone will speak on windows phone missing apps or will say it lacks in hardware, but never really brings up the issues of android lag.

2). People working in carrier stores are killing it. They too can't speak on windows phone and leave their preferences in their pockets. If you don't know about it then get somebody who does. I don't need your opinion if I came in asking about windows phone devices.

3). All the crying, and windows phone / Microsoft bashing coming from the windows phone community. That shit has got to stop! The OS is further along in so many ways than any other OS was in the same amount of time... yet it seems like it's success is measured in minutes and hours while other OS's are actually allowed to grow over years, and praised for minor shit. People can't log on and hope to "bash" MS into giving them what they want... that just scares away people who might be on the fence about buying. It's ugly and bad for everyone. Not saying windows phone is perfect, nor am I saying it shouldn't be criticized at all... I mean I want updates too. But I haven't seen nor heard anything that's going to make me jump ship.
